Paper Flowers
...and other easy creations
You can make some easy floral origami without need to resort to strict geometric folding of paper sheets, but using a bit of manual skill. For example watch the video below here.
Paper Rose - Video from Metacafe
The rose is perhaps the most obvious example, but the result is not bad. Reminds me of my habit of playing with the covering cap of sparkling wines, which wire can be easily molded to form a figure resembling a small turtle. A paper rose with a handkerchief is not so good as greeting card, but maybe it works better as placeholder on the table ... anyway here is a more "refined" variant:

Surfing surfing, I found this too:
Make Rose Petal Soaps In Minutes - Video from Metacafe
This is a really corny thing for Valentines ... anyway a "petal soap" may also be used
as a greeting card. I would stress that to get the effect shown in the video, you must get some fake
roses, dissolve the soap (in a microwave oven) and add the essence of rose (or other flavor).
NB for male users: to understand the meaning of the video you need to focus on what
happens AHEAD OF the girl's plunging neckline.
Finally, something of completely different:
Making A Heart Out Of Money - Video from Metacafe
Well, this is definitely more difficult and reminds me a little the gift we usually receive by grandparents, that say: "take it and buy whatever you want" (if you can reopen the banknote).
