Why basic gift search is mandatory for all four fields (age, sex, occasion and price)?
For two reasons: first, a search made for one or two criteria gives back a flood of results, and you'll lose a day just to browse through all pages. I do not think it would help. Second, as you could read on the home page, this site is designed to search for CUSTOMIZED gifts. A 25 $ gift for a man is not for a real person, but for a generic one.
There are several possibilities: first, make sure you have filled in all required fields: For example if you specify only the age you will not find any results. Or, if you used the advanced search, perhaps there aren't still gifts that meet all the criteria you have entered, since advanced search a very specific kind of search. If this is the problem, it will be solved as soon as the gift ideas database will enrich. Finally (and I hope this is not your case) do not submit absurd requests, such as a retirement gift for an eight years old child !
You must forgive me, but the website is online since a short time and there is a lot of work to do: the list of recommended shops is constantly enriched. Come back to make your searches in some time and you'll see. If you want you can help by recommending a shop to be added to database!
What makes this site different from other sites about gifts?
The most important thing that makes the search for gifts on this site unique is that it is oriented to the recipient of your gift: here does not matter if you buy this or that item, the mission of this site is to help you find the right idea just for the person to whom you are targeting, in order to assign meaning to the gift act. Anyway, if using Gifs-O-Matic you can also find the right place where to buy what you have chosen, all the better. If you want to read something else about, visit reflections about the present page.

Well, yes, then you are an exigent one, however you can find all the gifts on Gifts List page If you want suggest to me some missing gift idea, write me.
It's always possible to submit articles regarding particular products using the
appropriate section of Ideas Gift (
http://www.ideasgift.org/gift-related-articles/). The procedure is quite simple: just
email
a .doc document with text, links and images, according to the templates already published
(e.g.

The article you submit will be evaluated, optimized and possibly included in the site.
Concerning the style of the article, I stress that this is a section that promotes products
or at most small single sites useful to provide users with information about special gifts,
so the article should be not very promotional but very informational / referential
and gift theme-oriented
